Tram is an entrepreneurial corporate director and former Fortune 50 C-level Executive with over 25 years of leadership in health innovation and technology-driven industries, regulated and highly disruptive environments across five continents. She is recognized for connecting the dots in the boardroom and bringing fresh international collaboration and market expansion lenses, powered by a diverse global network.The breadth and depth of her experience come from having served in executive, advisory, and board leadership positions for varying-sized organizations, public and private, family businesses, and startups. As an inclusive leader, she has been interviewed and featured in four chapters of “The 5 Disciplines of Inclusive Leaders: Unleashing the Power of All of Us,” a book released by Korn Ferry in 2020.

 

Tram currently serves on profit and nonprofit advisory boards, public and private companies dedicated to advancing healthcare, finance, and data security with blockchain and AI technology. She has also engaged as an Independent Director Affiliate member of the Luxembourg Private Equity Association adding governance insights to Private Equity-backed portfolio companies. As the founder and current CEO of her private investment holding Vitanlink, Tram identifies, co-invests, and co-develops emerging growth ventures in partnerships with private equity and single-family offices as an advisor, board member and investor.

 

PRIOR BOARD EXPERIENCE

Tram previously served as a member of the board of directors with QuantsUnited, an AI-powered wealth tech company. She was instrumental in recruiting a new CEO, repositioning the company from a B2B to a B2C AI product model, and led the company’s board decisions during the acquisition and transition into Synthetic Neural Labs Inc in 2021.

She served as an independent lead board director for another emerging growth AI venture DreamUp Vision, where she helped the board connect to and acquire a high-profile acquirer lead in a 4-month timeframe.

Tram added value as a member of the EMEA Executive Board for Welch Allyn, owned since 2021 by Baxter International Inc (NYSE: BAX). She transformed the market, products, and channel models and closed an initial acquisition of the French entity by a European distributor that paved the way for future acquisitions.

Tram began her career as an auditor with EY, where she opened key offices in Vietnam and Cambodia before moving to J&J (NYSE: JNJ) Ortho-Clinic Diagnostics. She was awarded twice the Johnson & Johnson standards of leadership awards and she assumed increasing levels of P/L accountability, ultimately serving as a member of the EMEA management board. She expanded the international footprint for the $3 Billions JNJ’s IVD division.

 

Tram holds an MBA from McGill University. She is currently completing her Master of Laws in International Financial and Commercial Law from King’s College London. Tram is a US Certified Public Accountant [CPA New Hampshire State Board of Accounting] , Certified in Private Company Governance and  

Private Equity Portfolio Company Governance with US PDA and Non-Executive Director Certified with the Financial Times UK. Based in Paris, she is a fluent in French, Vietnamese, German, and English.
