A decade ago, she founded Vitanlink, a private investment and acceleration holding dedicated to co-founding, co-investing, launching and scaling SMEs from the ground up in MedTech, HealthTech and AI SaaS IoT technology fields. She provided strategic advisory, investment, board-level leadership services to 50+ CEOs and Boards. During vitanlink's journey, she built a strong interdisciplinary& international partners’ network from research, academic to industry, accelerators (Canada Trade Agency e-Health, Eyefocus, Endeavor Global, Mobile World Foundation e-Health, EPFL Innovation..) or NGO (EU Commission PCP projects, Unesco Telemedicine.) , private equity, venture funds and single family offices to guide portfolio companies at critical inflection points at the operational or at the board level.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE
As the French subsidary’s CEO of the Welch Allyn Family-owned group (NYSE:BAX) and a member of the EMEA Executive Management Board, Tram orchestrated the preparation, sale and transition of an entire subsidiary into a new distribution structure, ultimately paving the foundation for the later $2B value acquisition by Hillrom then Baxter.
As an Executive EMEA Board-level member, she drove the profitable growth of the $3 Billion JNJ’s OCD IVD division by increasing the global Gross Profit through designing and implementing new global pricing strategies and launching new high margin lean six-sigma consulting solutions across Europe, which helped strengthen the equity story for the later successful spin-off to Carlyle. She was awarded twice in 2002 and 2005 the Johnson & Johnson standards of leadership achievement. In her early career, she was an auditor at EY in Vietnam, Cambodia and France.
Tram holds an MBA from McGill University, an active US Certified Public Accountant license (CPA New Hampshire State Board of Accounting], a certification in Private Company Governance from the PDA, and the Pearson Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma. In addition to her King's College London LL.M (Master of Laws) in International Financial and Commercial Law, which enhances her risk management and corporate ESG governance skills, she regularly attends board director training and continuing education with US PDA, NACD and the FT NED Diploma Alumni or the Female Board Pool Europe headquartered in Luxembourg. She has maintained since 2000 continuing Certified Public Education to ensure an active CPA license and relevant financial knowledge.
Tram, born as a French national has lived and worked in 15 cities globally and currently resides in Paris. She speaks French, English, Vietnamese and German.
